Mumbai: Facing flak from detractors on both political and coronavirus front, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday said a conspiracy is afoot to malign Maharashtra.

“Whatever political storms come, I will face… I will fight coronavirus too,” Thackeray said in a televised public address.

A day after COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra crossed the 10-lakh mark, Thackeray said his government has done effective work to tackle the pandemic.

Speaking in the backdrop of political criticism over demolition of actress Kangana Ranaut’s bungalow in Mumbai and the way his government handled the Sushant Singh Rajpit death case, Thackeray assured people that he would fight the political crisis too.

“I will have to remove the mask of Chief Minister to respond topolitics. I don’t speak doesn’t mean I don’t have answers,” Thackeray said.

  1. Initially during corona time, I thought we got a good leader. Slowly you became clueless and arrogant, rest is taken care by Sanjay R.
This is the weakness of SS. they don’t have experience in administration.

  2. The real conspiracy is the link between top MVA politicians, crime syndicates, drug barons, Bollywood and police. Maharashtra is no different from Colombia.

  3. Utter crap Mr CM.

You can’t control the SS goons then how can you control and govern a state. The fight to respond to Corona is beyond you.

Mumbai fell and now Pune is falling too, too little has been done and the task ahead looks impossible for you.

MVA is a utter failure, all we know you are good for is
    – Beating an ex servicemen,
    – Tonsoring a citizen who opposes your policies
    – Locking up media people
    – Blaming the center for all the things

MVA not so good at :
    – Law and order
    – Controlling foul mouth idiots like Raut.

Wont vote for you ever Mr Thakre.

  4. Of course, everything is a conspiracy. Number 1 in India in COVID cases – conspiracy. Beating up retired defence folk – conspiracy. Demolishing an actress’s office – conspiracy. Farmer suicides – conspiracy. No follow-up in the Maratha reservation case – conspiracy.
Look inward UT, look inward. Don’t become more like Mamata.
