President Donald Trump demanded an immediate trial in the US Senate Friday, which has a Republican majority, shortly after being impeached by the US House of Representatives. In today’s featured cartoon, Maarten Wolterink represents the Republican party’s elephant symbol protecting the ‘criminal’ Trump while kicking out the Democrats’ symbol, the donkey.
