Jalaun (UP), Jul 2(PTI) The driver and cleaner of a truck were killed on Sunday when their vehicle rammed into another truck parked on the road in the Kuthaund area here, police said.
The accident took place near Tatarpur village and the driver of the parked truck fled with his vehicle right after the incident, Circle officer (CO) Rajeev Gautam Kumar said.
The deceased have been identified as truck driver Shekhan Hussain (28) and cleaner Man Singh (25), Kumar said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and an investigation has been initiated, the CO added. PTI COR CDN RPA RPA
