New Delhi: A video of Chinese PLA (People’s Liberation Army) soldiers performing car stunts has taken the internet by storm. The 15 seconds video clip, credited to news portal People’s Daily China, shows PLA’s military cars & trucks performing the stunts on snowy lands.

The video has the Chinese army showing off their “amazing driving skills”, but India was having none of it, given the current tensions between the two countries. From arguing that Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty could do a better job to suggesting the soldiers should apply for jobs with Uber, Twitterverse exploded with memes and jokes.

Netizens didn’t miss an opportunity to poke fun at the video, which fast turned into a meme fest. This comes in the backdrop of the hashtag ‘Boycott China’ trend on social media.

In response to the video, one Twitter user wrote, “Indian Auto Drivers: HOLD MY BEER.”

Another user of the microblogging site wrote that Indian auto drivers can change tyres while driving, and shared a video of a tyre being exchanged with another auto and then replaced as the auto kept moving on two wheels.

“Good, ask them to apply for Uber,” another user wrote.

Twitterati stated that action movie director Rohit Shetty does better stunts than the Chinese soldiers in the video.

One user said Rohit Shetty still wouldn’t cast the soldiers. “Still Rohit Shetty won’t cast them, clearly shows the nepotism in Bollywood.”

“Dear China we have Rohit Shetty, you can watch Sooryavanshi for better scenes,” another wrote.

In a similar incident, a couple of days back, Indians had trolled a video of Chinese soldiers sleep training. Chinese soldiers can be seen sleeping on the ground in the video, and when someone tries to snatch their guns, he is met with resistance by the soldiers who are supposedly half asleep. “Even asleep with exhaustion after intensive training, they won’t allow anybody to take their guns away. This is what guns mean to Chinese soldiers,” the post read.
