Jaipur, Jul 20 (PTI) Light rainfall was recorded in parts of eastern Rajasthan while heavy rain lashed some areas in the western part of the state in the last 24 hours till Sunday morning, a MeT department spokesperson said.
Mount Abu tehsil recorded the highest rainfall of 145 mm during this period, he said Jaipur’s MeT regional centre director Radhey Shyam Sharma said that except Jaisalmer and surrounding areas, there is a strong possibility of relief from heavy rain in most of the remaining parts today.
On July 21-22, light-moderate rain activities are likely to be recorded in some parts of northern and south-eastern Rajasthan.
He said that there will be a decline in heavy rain activities in most parts of the state for the next one week. However, light moderate rain activities are likely to be recorded in some parts.
The highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded at Sriganganagar at 36.5 degree Celsius yesterday. The lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded 20 degrees at Sirohi.
According to observations recorded this morning, average humidity was recorded between 75 to 100 per cent in most parts of the state. PTI AG NB NB
