13 students get highest score of 499 in CBSE class 10 results

The Trivandrum region performed the best with a pass percentage of 99.85.

New Delhi: Thirteen students across the country earned the highest score in the CBSE class 10 results announced Monday. The students all earned a top score 499 of 500, while the second rank was shared by 24 students.

The pass percentage for this year was 92.45%, with girls outperforming boys by a margin of 2.31%.
A total of 2.25 lakh students scored above 90% and 57,256 scored above 95%.
Fifty-eight students shared the third rank.
The Trivandrum region performed the best with a pass percentage of 99.85, followed by Chennai and Ajmer with 99 and 95.89 respectively.
Delhi ranked second last with a pass percentage of 80.97 and Guwahati was last with 74.49.

  1. Exam results are a joke these days. Eleven or twenty people in NUMBER 1 position?! Isn’t it supposed to be number ONE?
