New Delhi: From ‘Baahubali’ to Priya Prakash Varrier’s famous wink, netizens are making the most of Donald Trump’s two-day visit to India as several memes of the US President are being shared on social media.

The most popular among them is a mashup video of Trump as ‘Baahubali’, from the popular movie Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. The US President retweeted the video himself with the caption, “Look so forward to being with my great friends in INDIA!”.

In the video, Trump’s face was morphed over actor Prabhas’ and he can be seen riding horses, fighting with swords and steering chariots.

First Lady Melania Trump, his daughter and adviser Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr., his son, also feature in the video. The video ended with the message, “US and India United!” and was shared over 16,500 times.

Another video shows a ‘flirtatious exchange’ between Trump and actress Priya Prakash Varrier based on the viral scene from the Malayalam movie Oru Adaar Love. In the edited video, the President seems to intently look at Varrier’s character and even gush after the famous wink.

Bollywood memes were also not far behind. A viral meme consists of Akshay Kumar’s character from the movie Hera Pheri with Trump and Melania.

Another hilarious video traces Trump’s visit with the popular Hindi song ‘aayo re maaro dholna’ playing in the background. The video ends with the caption ‘Ye lo main aaya, koi deal nahi laaya, main bas idhar maje karne aaya (Look here I come with no deal, I come only to have fun).

A meme also poked fun at the Maharashtra government debacle that happened in November last year. The faces of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and NCP President Sharad Pawar were superimposed on a statue of Mahatma Gandhi’s ‘three monkeys’ with a funny voice-over.

No mention of Gandhi

It was not all fun, though, as several people also criticised Trump for his entry in the Sabarmati Ashram’s visitor book, which he visited as soon as he landed in Ahmedabad.

“TO MY GREAT FRIEND Prime Minister Modi — THANK YOU FOR THIS WONDERFUL VISIT”, Trump wrote in the visitor’s logbook.

Twitter users immediately took note of the fact that he did not mention Mahatma Gandhi, and criticised him.

Several others also compared Trump’s message to the one penned by former US President Barack Obama, in the Rajghat logbook, during his visit in 2015.
