New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) top brass attended a meeting of the BJP parliamentary party at Ambedkar Bhavan in the national capital Tuesday.

BJP president J.P. Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Home Minister Amit Shah were among those present.

In an unusual sight, some ministers arrived after PM Modi had taken his seat.

According to an ANI report, on the agenda was an analysis of poll results, with a focus on seats won and lost by the party, and the reasons why.

The BJP emerged victorious four of the five states that went to polls this year, retaining Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa. In Punjab, it lost to the Arvind Kerjiwal-led Aam Aadmi Party, which came to power in the state with a thumping majority.
