In Pictures: Sonia, Manmohan pay tribute to Indira Gandhi on her 35th death anniversary

New Delhi: Senior Congress leaders, led by party’s interim president Sonia Gandhi, attended a ceremony of remembrance held for Indira Gandhi in Shakti Sthal early Thursday.

Today marks the 35th death anniversary of Indira Gandhi, India’s second longest serving Prime Minister and the only woman till date to have held the position. Prominent party leaders who attended the ceremony included former president of India Pranab Mukherjee, former vice-president Hamid Ansari, former prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
