Lit up ghats, disinfection drives, security checks — Ayodhya readies for Ram temple event

PM Modi and other dignitaries will arrive in Ayodhya for the 'bhoomi pujan' of the Ram temple tomorrow. The city has been carrying out disinfection drives in preparation for the event.

Ayodhya: Heavy security and social distancing norms in place, Ayodhya is all set to conduct the bhoomi pujan or the ground breaking ceremony of the Ram temple Wednesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is among the those on the guest list for the event.

The city’s ghats and bridges have been decorated with lights while sanitation drives were being conducted at various places.
