New Delhi: Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Sitharaman and Ravi Shankar Prasad were among the union ministers who attended the Eid festivities hosted by minority affairs ministers Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain on Wednesday.
Wishing people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Prasad said, “May the peace and harmony of this country remain intact. Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Vishwas.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended his wishes in the morning, calling for the day to “ignite the spirit of harmony, compassion and peace” in society.
