New Delhi: The second phase of the Covid-19 vaccination drive began across the country Monday. In this phase, those over 60 years of age, as well as people above the age of 45 with comorbidities can get vaccinated.
In Delhi, ThePrint’s photojournalists Manisha Mondal and Suraj Singh Bisht visited four different hospitals — Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and Sanjeevan Hospital.
The vaccination centres were open from 9am to 5pm, and people had to register themselves online to get vaccinated. There was also an option of on the spot registration between 3 pm and 5pm.
However, on the vaccination day, there were several technical glitches with the registration process. Some who had pre-registered could get easily vaccinated while in other cases registration failed and some elderly people had to wait for hours.
