Teachers say online classes have ruined the classroom decorum. Students, they claim, often make fake IDs to make inappropriate remarks about them during class.
The Delhi HC, which was hearing a plea by Queen Mary School Northend, said schools could only preclude students whose parents could not prove they were in a financial crisis.
Pass percentage for both Class 10 and 12 have been above 90%. In Class 10, 99.3% students have passed this year, while for the class 12 the pass percentage is 96.8%.
In a letter to the UGC chairman Dhirendra Pal Singh, former chairman Sukhadeo Thorat reiterates demands by students across the country to cancel final year exams.
UGC issued a circular Thursday, detailing SOPs for colleges and that they conduct a risk-assessment before holding exams. Health of students and staff to be monitored too.
The high court also asked the varsity to explain as to how it proposes to conduct exams - online, offline or both modes, besides the complete date sheet.

My sons love to play game in my mobile phone. I told him it’s bad for his eye sight, so you can play once in a week for fifteen minutes. Now online classes hv started everyday four hours apart from the work given. Now he questions me if I play game for fifteen minutes my eye sight will be effected but while studying it will not. I m helpless. Is online classes really needed. They are only in class three and six. Please requesting govt to please stop this online classes

This is just depressing. Seeing the way teachers are being treated, I have little faith in our society as each day passes. This pandemic has shown us the inequities of our society and how hierarchical our social structure is. This is really not a fair world. The poor always suffer, don’t they?
The institute should create their own email id for each and every student . Format of the email id should be combination of roll no. and name of the student. Now in Google meet, teachers should allow only those students to join , who are joining by their institute email id..
If 12th students are not pushed out before June 2021 by holding NEET and JEE then there is no point in holding these online classes and rushing through. Let our children’s eyes be relieved of the strain watching small screens and let there be peace and joy
