CBSE raising concern over an exam question about Gujarat 2002 riots is over the top. The question shouldn’t be viewed as partisan politics. Riots happened. People died. Students must engage with recent events. But including Republicans and Democrats in the answer options underestimates class 12 students’ intelligence. This isn’t KBC.
