Ranaut has been baiting and lashing out at everybody, drawing attention to herself, unwittingly playing into the BJP-Shiv Sena political battle. Now, the Indian taxpayer will foot the bill for her security.

Indian society has become an elite society and most of the media has become elitist. Only the elite’s pain concerns the media today – not migrant labour, not Covid deaths, not job losses, not business closures, not income cuts, not the suspension of school/college education for the ordinary citizen of India. Not even jawans and officers defending our nation’s borders matters to them.
Fame and riches has gone to Ms. Ranaut’s head and she projects an aura of righteousness. Looks like her followers are well off, have a steady income and the Covid crisis has not at all hurt them financially.
In the end country is the loser, taxpayer money being wasted on a rich person’s security. So much of law and police machinery time and money wasted on suicide of an actor. No wonder we are such a flawed and fragile democracy.
Millions of ordinary Indians have to face years of waiting in courts, forced to give bribes to public agencies, and fear to approach the police. We will be a Third World country for a very long time that’s for sure.
Who footed Priyanka Vadra’s security bill and also her Mother in Laws security bill till now. In fact Priyanka’s bill is footed from the tax I pay to the government. Why should my taxes be used to ensure security for Priyanka ? Who is she ? Why does she deserve security at tax payers expense ? The Print…we need answer from you else dont pontificate. Yes and I dont mind if my taxes go for Kangana’s security because she has come out boldly against the drug peddlers who destroy the society and the country. She is doing the work which media like The Print should have done. Shame on you The Print. This is very bad journalism.
Her talk goes against the fundamental right of Shivsena to protect murderer. The Maharastra police to sweep its incompetence under the rug.The person who threatened her is fine, blame the victim.
