  1. Far from over, one fears. Neither in India nor in many other parts of the world. A race between vaccination and variants. All opening up is a trade off between lives and livelihoods, Bombay’s local trains being a good example. It should be focused on economic activity. Non economic pursuits, pilgrimages, political rallies and the abandonment of WMD will give us a One Two punch.
