Disappointing to note SC wants pre-censorship of OTT content. There’s no pornography here
Supreme Court nudge to the government to legislate a more restrictive pre-censorship kind of regime for OTT entertainment platforms is disappointing. Respectfully, we must infer that either the Lordships are watching some OTT content we aren’t aware of. Or, they haven’t seen real pornography yet, which can be a compliment.
EC did well to remove Modi image from vaccine certificates, especially in conformist times
Election Commission of India has done well to order the removal of PM Modi’s picture from vaccination certificates as it violates the poll Code of Conduct. This EC action calls for particular appreciation in times when some institutions are looking disappointingly conformist, and especially as this involved the PM himself.
