Election Commission’s social distancing guidelines for Bihar elections amid the pandemic look good on paper. Not postponing polls signals administrative confidence. But enforcing and monitoring social behaviour in overheated political campaigns, that too in a large and densely populated state, require both EC and Bihar government to be extra vigilant.
