Congress lost a chance today to reboot party. It needs to move past defending Gandhis

The Congress had a very rare opportunity today to press the reboot button and start afresh. But unfortunately for the party, and a bit predictably too, the CWC meeting flattered to deceive by treating the call for introspection and change as an affront to the Gandhi family. More’s the pity.

  1. Congress and it’s journalistic fraternity should realise by now their ONE WAY fake propaganda is over due to arrival of social media. It’s complete change of ” DIVIDE HINDUS AND RULE INDIA ” policies that have to change.

  2. There are trolls everywhere. BJP trolls create nuisance for anyone who talks sense that is not to BJP leadership’s liking. Similarly there are trolls in the Congress who have shouted down some very good men like Anand Sharma. Everytime I see that hunchback Motilal Vohra, I think that’s what his name is, I wonder how can any group ever move, or even hope to move with such deadwood among its ranks. Yet, he’s always there, just a step or two behind Sonia or Rahul Gandhi in any photograph. Then you have Manmohan Singh, who gave the power to Modi on a platter, by his totally impotent governance in the last two years of his rule. He too is there, always sitting right in the front row, like a zombie who refuses to die and refuses to be resurrected. Frankly, this is a croud that deserves to be sent out into the night aboard Singapore Airlines flight 370.

  3. For long the family glue perfected the art and science of sticking all together. However, with Mum Sonio getting no younger and Pappu pranks getting no votes, many careers are at risk. As the glue appears to be wearing off finally, dissenting voices may get sharper. With the family fixated on securing Pappu’s career prospects, the Congress soap opera may be headed for a few exciting episodes ahead.

  4. The family has won today’s battle but continues to lose the war. It is simply waiting for anti incumbency to build up to a level where power is handed to it on a platter. The Bourbons neither forgive nor forget. 23 people have stuck their necks out.
