Andhra Pradesh High Court’s direction to Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government to develop Amaravati as the capital is sensible. His three-capital idea was imprudent, logistically and financially. A debt-ridden state can’t afford such a waste of resources. HC has given a face-saver to Reddy. He must abandon the ill-conceived three-capital plan.
