Congress holds press conference, more than a dozen media outlets publish reports. 

New Delhi: ThePrint report which said retired Delhi high court judge S.N. Dhingra was under the scanner for alleged impropriety has been flagged by the Congress and followed up by more than a dozen media outlets.

The Congress party Friday demanded the rejection of an inquiry report by the Justice S.N. Dhingra Commission into Robert Vadra’s controversial land deals in Gurgaon saying questions had been raised about the retired judge’s own conduct.

The Congress demand came two days after ThePrint reported that the former Delhi High Court judge was himself under higher judicial scrutiny for “overstepping” and possibly misusing for personal gain his mandate as a court-appointed observer in a family business dispute.

Dhingra had denied the allegations and said he had done no wrong in the matter.
